I let the router sit overnight unplugged from electricity. Question: I assume any subnet will do as long as they're identical - I use AP2 is set as Client. The bridge light is on. Log messages I enabled logging on both boxes. Everything works with no issues as long as I don't set any wireless security for the virtual interface. This issue was discussed previously in bug but it was eventually closed without any changes because BrainSlayer could not reproduce the problem. But of course, that places clients behind the bridge on a different network from the primary router.
Apparently DDWRT does not support WPA2 PSK wireless sécurité.

I guess dd-wrt as Repeater-Bridge, cant connect to Main router with WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK!! i set both routers to normal WEP 64b, and that was. I've been unable to connect through WPA2 security with my repeater bridge setup (WRTGL router with std build behind Huawei.
To work well this requires routers with the same or compatible chipsets on each side of the WDS bridge.

Besides that, once you switch it to Repeater mode it detects the channel of the Main router and sets it to the same. His connection speed went from average mbps to mpbs. Not sure but through many different settings the two router and repeater just would not operate together anymore.

ok, on the R it's simple for me(very typical) "WPA2-PSK AES". Wireless mode Repeater Bridge. The bridge light is on. Single GHz radio (wl0) wl0: Mixed mode, WPA2-PSK, AES. There is no channel info. I'm trying to set up a repeater using an old Linksys router and dd-wrt and I'm security settings on my Android tablet, it says, "WPA/WPA2 PSK".
